SC Haitian Mission FundAugust 23, 2021 - December 31, 2021 Time: TBA
Since August 14, the leaders of the Haitian Mission Project have been online and on the telephone, trying to contact ministers and community leaders who collaborated with us during our travels in Haiti. For over 12 years, God has allowed the SC Haitian Project to be His hands and feet in a country that suffered from the first day of its freedom, January 1, 1804. Yes, our hearts are heavy. We have made over 50 mission trips to the country. The country has been the center of our global mission efforts since the disastrous 2010 earthquake. Financial results of our virtual meetings with a committee of Haitian leaders; the citizens of Haiti need prayers and financial support! We agreed to lead an effort under the direction of the Haitian Mission Project to fulfill two goals:
- to bring humanitarian aid by providing food and water to many families within Les Cayes and surrounding communities.
- to aid families in building or rebuilding their devastated homes.
Our goal is to raise no less than $60,000. This amount will help us feed hundreds and to aid families in building or rebuilding approximately 15 or more houses. If we receive more, we will do more. We pray that you will join us in giving and encouraging others to collaborate with us.
Doing nothing is not acceptable! Haiti needs our Support! “And the King shall answer and say unto them, 'Verily I say unto you, since have done it unto one of the least of these My brethren, ye have done it unto me ...” Matthew 25: 40.
